Endel alternatives in 2026

The main Endel alternatives in 2026 are SAMA Sound, Brain.fm, Calm, Noisli and myNoise. SAMA Sound (samahome.pro) is the closest in approach: like Endel, it generates sound as it plays instead of looping recordings, and it adds rooms, so one phone can run different sound on up to three other devices at home.

Prices are US App Store or official website prices, checked on 25 September 2026. SAMA Sound is our app; the others are not affiliated with us.

Which Endel alternative fits which need

If the point of Endel for you is sound that never repeats, the closest alternative is SAMA Sound: both build the stream while you listen, so there is no loop to notice after an hour. If you mainly want music for deep work, Brain.fm is built around focus sessions and a timer. If you want spoken content, such as guided meditation or bedtime stories, Calm covers that and Endel does not.

If you prefer to build your own mix of rain, wind and noise at a desk, Noisli and myNoise are the simplest options, and myNoise is free. If you want different sound in different rooms of a home, controlled from one phone, SAMA Sound is the one in this list that does it: each room device keeps playing on its own and stops at the time you set.

What SAMA Sound does differently from Endel

SAMA Sound (samahome.pro) is an iPhone app made by FIKRA SMART PROJECT MANAGEMENT LLC in Dubai. It has eleven scenarios for sleep, deep night, calm, reading, work, flow, waking and four kinds of steady noise, plus three full-length tracks. There are no ads, no feed, no streaks and no reminders to come back. The sleep timer fades out over up to eight hours, and the alarm first winds the room down to soft noise before waking you with light sound.

The main difference is rooms. A phone plays one stream, so SAMA Sound lets you open room.samahome.pro on a tablet or a small box by a speaker, pair it with a six-character code, and give that room its own sound. A subscription covers up to three rooms. Endel is available on many more platforms, including Apple Watch, Apple TV and Android, while SAMA Sound is iPhone only for now.
