SAMA
The short version. SAMA works without an account, and everything it remembers about your listening stays on your phone. One optional feature — playing in more than one room — needs an account, and that is the only thing that involves a server. If you never use it, we hold nothing about you at all.
When you first open SAMA, the app creates a random string of characters and stores it locally. It is not derived from your name, email, phone number, Apple ID or any hardware identifier on your device. It never leaves your phone.
Alongside it, the app stores your chosen theme, your sound settings, and how many sessions you have listened to and for how long. This is what lets the app remember your preferences between launches. It is not sent anywhere.
SAMA can play on several devices at once — a tablet in the bedroom, a small box by the pool — each set up as a room and controlled from your phone. Devices cannot find each other on their own, so this feature needs an account and a server.
If you choose to use it, we hold:
That is the whole list. No listening history, no recordings, no location. Room names are written by you: if you would rather not store something, do not put it in the name.
Accounts and rooms are stored by Supabase, our database provider, acting on our instructions. Each account can only read and write its own rows; this is enforced by the database, not only by the app.
We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, calendar, location, health data or advertising identifiers.
SAMA contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking pixels. It does not track you across other apps or websites, and it shows no advertising.
SAMA does not request microphone access. It plays sound; it does not listen.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details, card number or billing address. Apple tells the app only whether an active subscription exists. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share personal information, and never have. The only third parties involved are Apple, which handles payment, and Supabase, which stores accounts and rooms on our behalf. Neither uses that data for their own purposes.
Rooms exist until you delete them. Your account exists until you ask us to close it. Delete a room and its row is gone; ask us to close the account and everything attached to it goes with it.
SAMA is not directed at children and contains nothing aimed at them.
If you never signed in, you already control everything: deleting the app deletes all of it, immediately and permanently, and there is no copy on our side.
If you did sign in, write to privacy@fikratech.pro and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it and close the account. We answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The address above covers all of them.
If we start collecting something new, we will update this page and say so inside the app before the change takes effect. We will not start collecting new categories of data retroactively or quietly.
